This cheddar cheese provides an explosion for the palate!

My first experience of this cheese was at Top Gear Live in Birmingham at the NEC of all places over two years ago now. Although the environment was perplexing the taste of the cheese certainly wasn’t! In a word; incredible. Its accolades include The Great British Cheese Awards, Nantwich International Cheese Awards and the World Cheese Awards. This select extra mature cheddar Snowdonia cheese is the flagship product with its creamy & smooth taste makes this unique with a texture & taste that will entice. Snowdonia cheese started in 2001 with aim of creating a luxury cheese selection through farmer markets and now through premium retailers & delicatessens.

When I first wrote about this cheese I said that is a rare treat for a cheese lover, but now it is more readily available. With a huge fan base & massive popularity it will be more accessible to us all with every passing day, which is by no means a bad thing.

It is now in 2016 available at Waitrose cheese counters and directly through Snowdonia cheese. If you like truly delicious cheddar then this should grace even the most modest of cheeseboards, and with a variety of different flavours there is bound to be a flavour for everyone to enjoy.
