St Andrews Farmhouse ‘Cheddar Style’- Unpasteurised Cow’s Milk, Not Suitable For Vegetarians

Hello Readers this is part 3 of St Andrews Cheeses,

St Andrews Farmhouse is a cheddar style cheese that is matured for 9 months and is certainly a well rounded cheese. Once again it uses unpasteurised milk from Holstein Friesians and a traditional rennet to create a wonderfully creamy, medium strength cheese which is well rounded and with a lingering flavour.. I feel that this would be quite at home on a Ploughman’s platter, with a chilled cider at a BBQ, or on top of an Aberdeen Angus cottage pie.

Finding this cheese can be difficult but I suggest you phone St Andrews Cheese Co. on 01333 312580 as they would be more than happy to help you.

I end this 3 part post of St Andrews cheese by wishing Robert & Jane Stewart well and it was lovely to meet her in person at the Food & Drink Expo 2014. If you ever find yourself near Falside Farm in Fife then pop in and visit this wonderful Farmhouse Artisan cheese producer.
